Hi, if you wish to join us as a seller for your products, please register on our Seller Portal. Please ensure that you refer to our Payment & Fee Policy and Refund Policy before registering You can follow these instructions to register and add products to sell on our website.

1. Open the link “ Seller Portal ”  
    2. If you are already registered as seller, please login   
    3. If you are a new seller, please click on register as a new user  
    4. Once you have registered, please login with your credentials  
    5. Once the dashboard appears, Go to Products menu  
    6. From Product menu, choose create 
    7.   Add product details such as product name, description, photo, price etc  
    8. Click on save changes

FAQs for Sellers

Q 1- What is the Payment Policy?

All fees are simple and straightforward:

It’s always free to list an item for sale on Whatsinmytrunk.
After your item sells, we deduct a small fee from the final order price. For all sales the fee is a flat rate of 15% + GST.
The shipping is to be borne by the seller. After the deduction of the 15% fee + GST and shipping cost the rest amount is transferred to the seller as per the payment cycle.

Please note, your earnings are based on the listing price and actual earnings may vary based on the final order price, seller discounts, and any other applicable taxes and discounts.

 

Q 2- What is the Payment Cycle?

Payment for your sales is deposited securely into your bank account on the 7th day from order delivery, including your Cash on Delivery orders

E.g. if your product is successfully delivered on 1st January, money for that product will be deposited in your bank account before 16th January.

 

Q 3- How much do I get paid?

With Whatsinmytrunk, you can sell your products at as low as a 15% fee + GST(shipping has to be borne by the seller and will be deducted from the amount after the fee is deducted) and get your payments on time. 

 

Q 4- How are Refunds handled and paid for?

If a product is unacceptable to the customer and is returned, the shipping cost for the returned product will have to be paid by the customer. You can either choose your own shipping vendor or you can choose whatsinmytrunk's 3rd party shipping vendor.  
The cost for our 3rd party shipping vendor is Rs 150 Per Kg.  
Please ensure that you contact us before initiating a return procedure. To contact us please send an email to info@whatsinmytrunk.com to initiate the return procedure.  
Once we confirm and approve the return, we will send the shipping label that needs to be used to return the item.  
In case you choose our 3rd party shipping vendor, our vendor might contact you to obtain the item, you must pay the shipping cost to the vendor before the item is shipped.  
Once our third-party delivery vendor picks up the product which is raised to be refunded, it will be delivered to the seller's address.

 

Q 5- How is Shipping Handled?

Shipping for Whatsinmytrunk is handled by our 3rd party delivery vendor, Delhivery. The shipping item is picked from the seller's location and transported to the customer.  
The shipping cost has to be borne by the seller which is approximately Rs 150/kg. We will charge this cost on actuals only.  
The shipping cost will be deducted from the seller's payout.

 

Q 6- How Can I sell more?

Here are some tips to maximize your sale and payouts.  

To sell more you can bundle up low-value products. This will help it be economical for customers and might help you sell more. It will also be economical for you in terms of shipping costs.
Sellers should add as much product description as they can (including but not limited to features, usage, condition (new, almost new, extra loved)) to enable customers to make an informed decision and to derive successful sales of the products listed. 
Try to keep the price of the items lower than the price of similar new items available online.

 

Q 7- How can I fulfill an order?

To fulfil an order you must first ensure that your profile and payment details are updated.  
We will share you the shipping label which you may paste on the packaging & also arrange the pick-up & delivery.
